This is an extra video going more indepth on La Masia (FC Barcelona’s academy) from the 60 Minutes reporter that aired Sunday night. If you missed it, please see if you can find it somewhere online it was a great introduction to FCB and explanation. This piece however is a little more on the youth side which is obviously what matters to us.
FC Barcelona has been an influence on what we do here at Center Circle and what I (Evan) do as a coach for quite a while. In fact so much so I went to go check it all out back in 2009. This is a story of a club that stuck to their beliefs and went through hard times but didn’t change or vary from them. They are reaping the benefits of those beliefs and methods now and it’s very important to watch them as much as possible as you never know when this greatness will come around again.
